Australia is becoming a real melting pot for fashion design talent. We recently launched Australian brands Nicole Fendel and Shakuhachi to for Spring Summer 10, which have been doing very well, so I was delighted to be selected as a speaker at a fashion festival in Australia. After a 24 hour flight with Etihad I was lucky enough to be able to spend ten days with some of Australia’s leading and up and coming designers. It was incredible to see such fresh talent emerging outside the four main fashion capitals.
